Companies can do amazing things like qualify leads for profitability when survival is truly at stake. Check out this article about Sequoia's "R.I.P Good Times" presentation, which they used to scare some sense into 100 of their portfolio companies.Nothing focuses the mind (or organizations) like a crisis. If only that kind of focus could be summoned and leveraged consistently. Any ideas?
